Saturday, August 16, 2014, 22 Pyanopsion, no particular dedication, death of Robert Johnson 1938, 6th night of the Waning Moon, in Taurus, overseen by the 15th Decan, Futile, ruled by Mars, starting in the 3rd Mansion of the Moon, Al Thurayya/Alzoraya, good for career support, general good luck, and to help or hinder judicial matters, moving the 4th Mansion of the Moon, Al Deberan / Aldeberan, good for playing the margins, shaking things up, around 1:00 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Saturn at 6:06 A.M., and last 69 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Mercury at 7:54 P.M., lasting 51 minutes, Sun in Leo, Mercury in Virgo, Venus in Leo, Mars in Scorpio, Jupiter in Leo, Saturn in Scorpio. Well, we have had better day; this probably won’t be one of them. The day starts with the Moon being square Jupiter, and in opposition to Mars later in the morning, which leads to poor impulse control, and a vague sense of being aggravated, while the evening graces us with a Moon/Saturn opposition, which increases our difficulties in finding a ray of Sunshine (or Moonshine, as the case may be) in the events occurring. Oh well, perhaps these small miseries will afflict others, but not us. Keep your chin up, and carry on, while trying to remain on an even keel. These are minor irritations, and transient. One’s magicks may be employed to change the course, to deflect these potential annoyances. Oh yes, I neglected to mention yesterday that is was the birthday of Charles Geoffrey Leland, born in Philadelphia in 1824, and whose books should need no introduction (“Aradia” anyone?)
