Thursday, February 28, 2013

Thursday, February 28, 2013, 19 Mounichion, dedicated to Zeus, 3rd night of the Waning Moon, in Libra, going Void of Course from 3:37 A.M. through the rest of the day, starting in the 15th Mansion of the Moon Al Ghafar/Algafra, good for uncovering/getting to the bottom of things, then entering the 16th Mansion, Al Zubana/Azubene, good for dealing with hindrances and reversals, around 5:00 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Jupiter at 6:31 A.M., and last 55.1 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with the Moon at 5:45 P.M., lasting 63.9 minutes. Sun in Pisces, Mercury retrograde in Pisces, Venus in Pisces, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn retrograde in Scorpio. A day which induces compelling but unobtainable dreams and visions, with a particular focus on one’s personal life and relationships. The Void of Course Moon in Libra makes it difficult to see things clearly. The best one can do is be entertained, but not seduced into action. Magically, a day for divination, not action.

Tuesday, February 26, 2013

Wednesday, February 27, 2013, 18 Mounichion, no particular dedication, 2nd night of the Waning Moon, starting Void of Course in Virgo, then entering Libra 8:02 A.M., starting in the 14th Mansion, Al Simak/Azimech; good for promoting love, health; bad for land travel, good for other modes, then entering the 15th Mansion of the Moon Al Ghafar/Algafra, good for uncovering/getting to the bottom of things, around 10:00 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Mercury at 6:33 A.M., and last 55.1 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with the Sun at 5:44 P.M., lasting 64.1 minutes. Sun in Pisces, Mercury retrograde in Pisces, Venus in Pisces, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn retrograde in Scorpio. The day could go to the bold, with the Moon in opposition to Uranus stirring up and bringing one to the edge (and past it) while Jupiter is trine, bringing the potential for great achievement and spoils. You could lose it all, or win big in the evening (if a gambling sort). Magically, a day for pushing the odds in one’s favor, altering probabilities.

Monday, February 25, 2013

Tuesday, February 26, 2013, 17 Mounichion, no particular dedication, 1st night of the Waning Moon, in Virgo, going Void of Course at 1:13 P.M. through the rest of the day, starting in the 13th Mansion of the Moon, Al Awwa/Alahue, good for aid, comfort, assistance, around 1:00 A.M., finally entering the 14th Mansion, Al Simak/Azimech; good for promoting love, health; bad for land travel, good for other modes, around 11 :00 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Mars at 6:34 A.M., and last 55.6 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Saturn at 5:42 P.M., lasting 64.4 minutes. Sun in Pisces, Mercury retrograde in Pisces, Venus in Pisces, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn retrograde in Scorpio. A perfect day for the devious, as they can take advantage of the rest of us, as we are stirred up by the Lunar opposition of both Mercury and Mars, which stirs the passions while keeping us preoccupied by old slights, real or imagined. If one can don a trickster persona, the conjunction of Mars and Mercury also occurring can allow one to get over big time. Magically, a day for subterfuge, working behind the scenes.

Sunday, February 24, 2013

Monday, February 25, 2013, 16 Mounichion, dedicated to Hekate and Artemis, night of the Full Moon, the Moon being Void of Course in Leo, then entering Virgo 1:52 A.M., starting in the 12th Mansion of the Moon, Al Sarfah/Acarfal, good for friendship and charitable acts, around 7:00 A.M., finally entering the 13th Mansion of the Moon, Al Awwa/Alahue, good for aid, comfort, assistance, around 11 :00 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with the Moon at 6:36 A.M., and last 55.4 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Venus at 5:41 P.M., lasting 64.6 minutes. Sun in Pisces, Mercury retrograde in Pisces, Venus starts in Aquarius, then enters Pisces 9:03 P.M., Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn retrograde in Scorpio. It’s best to attempt to strike a balance between an excess of self-control, and abandoning all pretence of the same. The manic/depressive quality that can descend on one during a full Moon is intensified by Venus joining Mars and Mercury in Pisces, all being under the sway of our retrograde Saturn. Best to avoid too much self-reflection, while having a care not to be too effusive about one’s impressions or desires. Magically, if you can be clear and honest about your motives, it is a good day to influence others.
Sunday, February 24, 2013, 15 Mounichion, no particular dedication, 15th night of the Waxing Moon, in Leo, going Void of Course 11:50 P.M., starting in the the 11th Mansion of the Moon, Al Zubrah/Azobra, which is good for reversing negative opinions and judgments, then entering the 12th Mansion of the Moon, Al Sarfah/Acarfal, good for friendship and charitable acts, around 7:00 P.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with the Sun at 6:37 A.M., and last 55.25 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Jupiter at 5:40 P.M., lasting 64.75 minutes. Sun in Pisces, Mercury retrograde in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn retrograde in Scorpio. A good day to look a gift horse in the mouth, as we will all be guilty of jockeying for position, and appearances will seen to count more than the reality behind them. Try to not sell yourself short, or out. With Venus in Opposition to Venus late in the evening, it might be best to be a hermit today. Magically, the day is not very conducive to new work; put everyhting on hold until Monday.

Saturday, February 23, 2013

Saturday, February 23, 2013, 14 Mounichion, no particular dedication, 14th night of the Waxing Moon, in Leo, starting in the 10th Mansion of the Moon, Al Jabhah/Algebhah, good for love and friendship, thwarting criminal activities and evil intentions, then moving into the 11th Mansion of the Moon, Al Zubrah/Azobra, which is good for reversing negative opinions and judgments, around 9:00 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Saturn at 6:39 A.M., and last 55 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Mercury at 5:38 P.M., lasting 65 minutes. Sun in Pisces, Mercury in Pisces, going retrograde 4:39 A.M., Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn retrograde in Scorpio. A contentious day, so best to gird your loins, and prepare for battle (if it comes to that), as we have Saturn still retrograde being joined by Mercury at 4:41 A.M. Hurt feelings will come to the surface, whether you are the responsible party or not, so you may need to forcefully explain that you were not the instigator of the other person’s misery. Magically, a day for compelling truth.

Thursday, February 21, 2013

Friday, February 22, 2013, 13 Mounichion, no particular dedication, 13th night of the Waxing Moon, starting Void of Course in Cancer, then entering Leo at 5:12 P.M., starting in the 9th Mansion of the Moon Al Tarf/ Atarf, good for baneful and destructive forms of magic, then entering the 10th Mansion of the Moon, Al Jabhah/Algebhah good for love and friendship, thwarts criminal activities and evil intentions, around 7:30 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Venus at 6:40 A.M., and last 54.8 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Mars at 5:38 P.M., lasting 65.2 minutes. Sun in Pisces, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn retrograde in Scorpio. A day going from Void of Course to no exact aspects. If you have some inner reserves of whatever left, you can power past the rest of us. Otherwise, just pretend that your’e plankton, drifting along on the current (and hope to not be strained out the current by a whale), as it’s an ineffectual day. Magically, better to devote the time to study, rather than practice, as the day won’t bring satisfying results.

Wednesday, February 20, 2013

Thursday, February 21, 2013, 12 Mounichion, no particular dedication, 12th night of the Waxing Moon in Cancer, going Void of Course 9:08 P.M. through the rest of the night, starting in the 8th Mansion of the Moon, Al Nathra/Ahaathra, governing positive aspects of love and happiness, then entering the 9th Mansion of the Moon Al Tarf/ Atarf, an appropriate time for baneful and destructive forms of magic, around 9:00 P.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Jupiter at 6:42 A.M., and last 54.5 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with the Moon at 5:36 P.M., lasting 65.5 minutes. Sun in Pisces 7:02 A.M., Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn retrograde in Scorpio. A good day to marshal your reserves, get the job done, and then take a few deserved shots at those who have been asking for it. While the tendency is to indulge in overkill (that pesky retrograde Saturn in Scorpio), the accompanying Moon trine Mercury in Pisces should lend some restraint (or at least subtlety). Magically, a day for evening the score with superiors.
Wednesday, February 20, 2013, 11 Mounichion, no particular dedication, 11th night of the Waxing Moon, starting Void of Course in Gemini, then entering Cancer 5:45 A.M., starting in the 7th Mansion of the Moon, Al Dhira/Aldirah, good for success when contending against authority figures. Good for acts promoting gain, love, comfort, then entering the 8th Mansion of the Moon, Al Nathra/Ahaathra, governing positive aspects of love and happiness, around 6:00 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Mercury at 6:43 A.M., and last 54.3 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with the Sun at 5:35 P.M., lasting 65.7 minutes. Sun in Pisces 7:02 A.M., Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn retrograde in Scorpio. Moon trine the Pisces Sun and Neptune today, allowing for vivid dreams and waling fantasies. Expect the unexpected, and try to not be so literal. Magically, a good day for divination and manefestation.

Monday, February 18, 2013

Tuesday, Februrary 19,2013, 10 Mounichion, no particular dedication, 10th night of the Waxing Moon, in Gemini, going Void of Course from 1:48 P.M. through the rest of the day, starting in the 6th Mansion of the Moon Al Han’ah/Athaya, good for stirring things up, promoting cruel and destructive acts, agricultural disasters, then entering the 7th Mansion of the Moon, Al Dhira/Aldirah, good for success when contending against authority figures, and for acts promoting gain, love, comfort, around 5:00 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Mars at 6:45 A.M., and last 54.1 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Saturn at 5:34 P.M., lasting 65.9 minutes. Sun in Pisces 7:02 A.M., Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn retrograde in Scorpio. Well, at least your heart’s in the right place, but it stands to be a day full of minor reversals and dissatisfactions You might have a moment when you stop and feel as though your’e living someone else’s life, or an outside observer to the same. Use this to your advancement, rather than despairing. Magically, a day to keep a low profile.
Monday, February 18, 2013, 9 Mounichion, no particular dedication, 9th night of the Waxing Moon, in Gemini, in the 6th Mansion of the Moon Al Han’ah/Athaya, good for stirring things up, promoting cruel and destructive acts, agricultural disasters the whole day. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with the Moon at 6:46 A.M., and last 53.9 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Venus at 5:33 P.M., lasting 66.1 minutes. Sun starts in Aquarius, then enters Pisces 7:02 A.M., Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio, going retrograde 12:03 P.M. Even greater care is needed today, with Saturn going retrograde in Scorpio while the Moon is square Mars and the Sun moves into Pisces. Do your best to avoid falling into a funk; while the tendency is to stay in place and contemplate one’s shortcomings, I would suggest swimming against the astrological tide, finding some confort in the fact that these self-doubts and worries are phantoms, and an opportunity to enforce one’s better nature. Magically, a perfect day for those who enjoy left-handed path work, while the rest of us shore up a less destructive equilibrium.

Sunday, February 17, 2013

Sunday, February 17, 2013, 8 Mounichion, dedicated to Poseidon, 8th night of the Waxing Moon, starting in Taurus, where it goes Void of Course from 3:31 P.M. to 4:49 P.M., then entering Gemini, starting in the 5th Mansion of the Moon Al Haq’a/Almices, good for healing, building, children, the return of lost things, then entering the 6th Mansion of the Moon, Al Han’ah/Athaya, a day for stirring things up, promoting cruel and destructive acts, agricultural disasters, around midnight. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with the Sun at 6:47 A.M., and last 53.72 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Jupiter at 5:32 P.M., lasting 66.25 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. A day of hinderances and blockages, rather like being stuck waiting for a bus at a deserted station, with everything being off schedule (this Moon is square Neptune and the Sun). Magically, a day for self-defense, and aggressive work.

Saturday, February 16, 2013

Saturday, February 16, 2013, 7th Mounichion, dedicated to Apollo, 7th night of the Waxing Moon, in Taurus, starting in the 4th Mansion of the Moon, Al Deberan/ Aldeberan, good for playing the margins, shaking things up, then entering the 5th Mansion of the Moon Al Haq’a/Almices, good for healing, building, children, the return of lost things, around 11:00 P.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Saturn at 6:49 A.M., and last 53.40 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Mercury at 5:30 P.M., lasting 66.60 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. A day for laser focus and formality, verging on brusqueness; with the Moon square Venus and in opposition to Saturn, there’s little room for the cameraderie of the last few days, while it being sextile Mercury and Mars allows for great vigor and persuasion in pressing one’s point. Magically, a day for claiming the advantage for oneself.

Thursday, February 14, 2013

Friday, February 15, 2013, 6th Mounichion, dedicated to Artemis, the day of the Delphinia, the young maiden’s procession in honor of Artemis the Savior, 6th night of the Waxing Moon, starting Void of Course in Aries, then entering Taurus 5:08 A.M., starting in the the 3rd Mansion of the Moon, Al Thurayya/Alzoraya, good for career support, general good luck, and to help or hinder judicial matters, into the 4th Mansion of the Moon, Al Deberan/Aldeberan, good for playing the margins, shaking things up, around 5:00 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Venus at 6:50 A.M., and last 53.25 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Mars at 5:29 P.M., lasting 66.75 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. Try to carve out the time to let your mind wander, and tap your unconscious; while it might scare others, this is the time to explore those deep thoughts one has been repressing, and harnessing them, with the aid of Mars sextile Pluto and the Moon sextile Neptune. Magiccaly, a day for divination in all it’s forms.
Thursday, February 14, 2013, 5 Mounichion, no particular dedication, 5th night of the Waxing Moon, starting in Aries, then going Void of Course from 10:35 P.M. through the rest of the night, starting in the 2nd Mansion of the Moon, Al Botein/Alboitan, good for finding treasure, capturing things, exciting situations, achieving things, then entering the 3rd Mansion of the Moon, Al Thurayya/Alzoraya, good for career support, general good luck, to help or hinder judicial matters, around 9:00 P.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Jupiter at 6:51 A.M., and last 53 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with the Moon at 5:28 P.M., lasting 67 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. With the Moon being sextile to both Venus and the Sun, this should be a day of general warm feelings and optimism; pity we can’t celebrate it with a holiday (actually, it’s the best aspected Valentine’s Day in the last three years). Magically, a good day for most forms of increase.

Tuesday, February 12, 2013

Wednesday, February 13, 2013, 4 Mounichion, dedicated to Hermes, Aphrodite, Eros, in Aries, starting in the 1st Mansion of the Moon, Al Sharatain/Alnath, good for creating discord, overseeing travel, engineering projects, then entering the 2nd Mansion of the Moon, Al Botein/Alboitan, good for finding treasure, capturing things, stirring up situations, and achieving things, around 9:00 P.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Mercury at 6:53 A.M. A.M., and last 52.8 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with the Sun at 5:27 P.M., lasting 67.2 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. This should be a day of relative peace and calm, balanced by reason. Magically, a day to work on increase in all its forms.
Tuesday, February 12, 2013, 3 Mounichion, dedicated to Athena (and it’s Mardi Gras), 3rd night of the Waxing Moon, starting Void of Course in Pisces, then entering Aries 8:51 P.M., starting in the 28th Mansion of the Moon Al Risha/Arrexhe, good for increase, travel, love, bad for cherished things, then moving into the 1st Al Sharatain/Alnath, which is good for dealing with complex systems, regulations, technical matters, around 8:51 P.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Mars at 6:54 A.M. A.M., and last 52.60 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Saturn at 5:26 P.M., lasting 67.40 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. While you may wish to put away your pre-frontal lobes for the day and just party, today’s major aspects are Mercury trine Saturn and sextile Pluto, combinded with the Moon sliding into the 1st Mansion, makes this a day for serious problem solving and heavy mental lifting. How you divide your time between these two poles is entirely up to you. Magically, a day for ceremonial work, spirit invocation.

Sunday, February 10, 2013

Monday, February 11, 2013, 2 Mounichion, dedicated to the Agathos Daimon, 2nd night of the Waxing Moon, in Pisces, going Void of Course 12:03 P.M. through the rest of the day, starting in the 27th Mansion of the Moon Al Mu’hir/Algorf at Midnight, good for material gain, health, overcoming enemies, and aid to the desperate, then entering the 28th Mansion of the Moon Al Risha Batn/Arrexhe, good for increase, travel, love, bad for cherished things, around 11:00 P.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with the Moon at 6:55 A.M. A.M., and last 52.40 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Venus at 5:24 P.M., lasting 67.60 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. An easy day to let self-centeredness be your rule and guide through the day. As much as we should be kind to ourselves, the combination of Venus being square Saturn and the Moon squaring Jupiter can make it appear that it’s alll about oneself, to the detriment of one’s reutation. Otherwise, it’s an emotionally intense day, better served by working on empathy for others. Magically, a day to be cautious, and enforce one’s safeguards.
Sunday, February 10, 2013, 1 Mounichion, dedicated to one’s Personal Deities, New Moon, (and the start of the Chinese Lunar New Year, Year of the Snake) starting Void of Course in Aquarius, then entering Pisces 4:20 P.M., starting in the 25th Mansion of the Moon, Al Alibiya/Caadulhachbia, good for hindering the activities of others, revenge, then entering the 26th Mansion Al Mukdim/ Almiquedam, good for love and health, liberation, around 1:00 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with the Sun at 6:56 A.M. A.M., and last 52.25 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Jupiter at 5:23 P.M., lasting 67.75 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. A good day to work on conceptualizing future relationships, planning out changes in one’s situation, or just daydreaming. Have a care to leave these great plans in the planning stage today, as Mars is square Jupiter, which has a tendency to make one impose one’s will by bullying, rather than by persuasion. Magically, a day for working on money-drawing and bringing honour.

Friday, February 8, 2013

Saturday, February 09, 2013, 30 Elaphebolion, dedicated to Hekate, 2nd night of the Dark of the Moon, in Aquarius, starting in the 24th Mansion of the Moon, Al Sulud/Caaddcohot, good for overcoming those against you, general success, then entering the 25th Mansion of the Moon, Al Alibiya/Caadulhachbia, good for hindering the activities of others, revenge, around 3:00 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Saturn at 6:57 A.M. A.M., and last 52.1 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Mercury at 5:22 P.M., lasting 67.9 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. A good day to assess whatever new territory you have entered these last few days, to determine whether your’e staying short term, or moving in. Better to go with your instincts rather than asking for advice or explaining yourself (this is due to the Moon being square Saturn, and more importantly because of Mercury squaring Jupiter, which ought to be a caution against discussing one’s finances or looking for honours). Magically, a day for turning the tables on others.

Thursday, February 7, 2013

Friday, February 08, 2013, 29 Elaphebolion, dedicated to Hekate, 1st night of the Dark of the Moon, (not yesterday, I must be time traveling) starting Void of Course in Capricorn, then entering Aquarius 2:17 P.M., starting in the 23rd Mansion of the Moon, Sa’d Bula/Caaddebolach, good for good for health, freedom, then entering the 24th Mansion of the Moon, Al Sulud/Caaddcohot, good for overcoming those against you, general success, around 7:00 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Venus at 6:59 A.M. A.M., and last 51.80 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Mars at 5:21 P.M., lasting 68.20 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. Well, it’s another special, dynamic day, marked by Mercury being conjunct Mars. If all goes according to plan, most of us should be sucessful busy bees, making up for the lost opportunites in January. Make your plans, and be social. Magically, a day to clear away cobwebs and impediments.
Thursday, February 07, 2013, 28 Elaphebolion dedicated to Hekate, 1st night of the Dark of the Moon, in Capricorn, going Void of Course 7:44 A.M. through the rest of the Day, starting in the 22nd Mansion of the Moon, Sa’d a-da’bih/ Caadaldepa, Good for health, liberation, then entering the 23rd Mansion of the Moon, Sa’d Bula/Caaddebolach, also good for health, freedom, around 9:30 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Jupiter at 7:00 A.M., and last 51.60 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with the Moon at 5:19 P.M., lasting 68.40 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. You may want to dial back on expressiing empathy, or conversely, steel yourself from a surfeit of the same being directed your way. You see, Venus is sextile Jupiter today, which can lead to a sufeit of solicitude, feigned or otherwise. On the bright side, this sort of bonne homme does allow us all to get along, and can be a benefit in negociations. Speaking of which, Saturn in Scorpio is well aspected, so all in all, a good day for the business of business in general. Magically, a day for small kindnesses under cloak of darkness.

Tuesday, February 5, 2013

Wednesday, February 6, 2013, 27 Elaphebolion, no particular dedication, 10th night of the Waning Moon, starting Void of Course in Sagittarius, then entering Capricorn 12:55 P.M., starting in the 21st Mansion of the Moon, Al Bal’dah/ Elbelda, good for acquiring material possessions, then entering the 22nd Mansion Sa’d a-da’bih/Caadaldepa, good for health, liberation, around 3:00 P.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Mercury at 7:02 A.M., and last 51.25 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with the Sun at 5:17 P.M., lasting 68.75 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. Really, quite a day for one’s endeavours, be they what they may, with the Moon and Mercury being sextile to Mars, Neptune, and each other. This allows for one’s natural slyness and pesuasive abilities to come to the fore. Let the game of “seduction” begin! Magically, a day to mashall one’s energies and allies.

Monday, February 4, 2013

Tuesday, February 05, 2013, 26 Elaphebolion, no particular dedication, 9th night of the Waning Moon, in Sagittarius, going Void of Course from 3:42 P.M. through the rest of the day starting in the 20th Mansion, Al Nalaim/Nahaym, good for compulsion, underhanded dealings, good for travel, then entering the 21st Mansion of the Moon, Al Bal’dah/ Elbelda, good for acquiring material possessions, around 7:00 P.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Mars at 7:02 A.M., and last 51.25 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Saturn at 5:17 P.M., lasting 68.75 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury starts in Aquarius, then enters Pisces 9:56 A.M., Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. Today, just be as charming as you can be. There is a wave of good feelings kicked off by the Sun being sextile to the Moon this afternoon, which pervades the rest of the day (even though we are in a Waning cycle). Magically, a day to bring calm and focus.

Sunday, February 3, 2013

Monday, February 04, 2013, 25 Elaphebolion, no particular dedication, 8th night of the Waning Moon, starting in Scorpio, then going Void of Course from 7:31 A.M. to 10:44 A.M., then entering Sagittarius, starting in the 19th Mansion, Al Shaulah/ Exaula, good for all defensive and aggressive work, then entering the 20th Mansion, Al Nalaim/Nahaym, good for compulsion, underhanded dealings, good for travel, around 5:00 P.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with the Moon at 7:03 A.M., and last 51.08 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Venus at 5:16 P.M., lasting 68.02 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Aquarius, Venus in Aquarius, Mars starts in Aquarius, then entering Pisces 8:54 P.M., Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. Better to work with your heart than your head (or at least to give the appearance of doing so), as the only inner planet well-aspected today is Venus. With Mars, Mercury and Neptune squaring the Moon today while the Moon is also in opposition to Jupiter, graciousness will go futher than being right, or correcting others. Magically, another day for working the left-hand path, or protecting you and your from the same.
Sunday, February 03, 2013, 24 Elaphebolion, no particular dedication, 7th night of the Waning Moon, in Scorpio, starting in the 18th Mansion of the Moon, Al Kalb/Alkab, good for plots revenge, travel, then entering the the 19th Mansion, Al Shaulah/ Exaula, good for all defensive and aggressive work, around 11:00 P.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with the Sun at 7:04 A.M., and last 50.9 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Jupiter at 5:15 P.M., lasting 69.1 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Aquarius, Venus starts in Capricorn, then enters Aquarius 9:47 P.M., Mars starts in Aquarius, then entering Pisces 8:54 P.M., Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. Finally, a day when you may be a bit more open about your hopes, dreams and aspirations, with the caveat that they may be stomped on a bit by critics (what else would you expect during this phase of Saturn in Scorpio). At least, the exercise may knock off the extraneous bits, ultimately strengthing the whole. Magically, a day for undercutting others (sorry, it’s a Machiavellian day).

Saturday, February 2, 2013, 23 Elaphebolion, no particular dedication, 6th night of the Waning Moon, starting Void of Course in Libra, then entering Scorpio 7:02 A.M., starting in the 17th Mansion of the Moon, Al Iklil/Alichil, good for positive work on plans and situations already in motion, and for establishing new, powerful connections, then entering the 18th Mansion of the Moon, Al Kalb/Alkab, good for plots and revenge, around 11:00 P.M. Today is also Imbolc/Candlemas, when we celebrate and nurture the newborn light and the quickening pulse of the world Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Saturn at 7:05 A.M., and last 50.6 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with the Mercury at 5:13 P.M., lasting 69.4 minutes. Sun in Aquarius, Mercury in Aquarius, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio. A good day to work on plots and schemes, to judiciously prune out the deadwood without damaging the new shoots. Magically, a good day to look over your shoulder, and slow down your competitors (think of all the wonderful toys on James Bond’s Aston Martin).
Imbolc/Candlemas, February 2nd or 15 degrees Aquarius, The Sun between the 25th and 26th Mansions of the Moon Magically, Aquarius and the activity in the Mansions caution optimism, not revealing your position, secret beginnings kept to yourself. If you are too demonstrative, there will be setbacks. Ritually, this is the time of renewed hope as the light which has survived is quickening, almost ready to burst forth, a time of preparation. Imbolc marks the point in the year when it possible to envision the end of winter; the light and potential for new waves of life and activity, which had only seemed an abstract future possibility, (and having been hidden away and protected since Yule), have marshaled sufficient vigor to make themselves manifest, though the climate might contest against it. Ritual activity at this time revolves around protecting and encouraging this dynamism to move forward into the promise of being fully revealed. For one’s personal work, it is the time to have finished new plans, bundle up and discard the lethargy and the vestiges or the previous season that the darkness encourages one at let pile up. While this season is still under the sway of the dead Holly King, the upstart Oak, which had been vanquished, at the height of summer, prepares to grow again, but still needs to be concealed. Imbolc ceremonies more often revolve around Bridget/Brig, whose image is constructed from reserved stalks from the field (Wheat, Corn), which can range in appearance from a vaguely humanoid form wrapped in a odd scrap of fabric, to a more carefully formed figure in actual garments. Her figure is placed in a bed or litter (by the hearth, if you have one), and is bedded with a token of the God, whether it be a variety of lignam/phallus, or an Oak rod topped with a pinecone or a sculpted acorn. Then you retire, to let them go about their business under cover of night . This union is expected to catalyze the same awakening in the rest of creation. In some Wiccan circles, this sacred union is overseen by the High Priestess and two other women, representing the Triple Goddess as Maid, Mother and Crone.
