Saturday, August 09, 2014, 15 Pyanopsion, dedicated to Hekate in the Athenian Calender, in Roman rites dedicated to the Sun, Jonas Bronck settles on property in a Borough latter named after him 1638, birth of John Dryden 1631, death of Emporer Trajan 117 AD, 15th night of the Waxing Moon, the day starting in Capricorn, then going Void of Course from 4:09 A.M. to 9:51 A.M., then entering Aquarius, overseen by the 14th Decan, Sic, ruled by Jupiter, starting in the 23rd Mansion of the Moon, Sa’d Bula/Caaddebolach, good for health, freedom, then entering the 24th Mansion of the Moon, Al Sulud/Caaddcohot, good for overcoming those against you, general success, around 1:00 A.M.
Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Saturn at 5:59 A.M., and last 70.33 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Mercury at 8:03 P.M., lasting 49.66 minutes, Sun in Leo, Mercury in Leo, Venus in Cancer, Mars in Scorpio, Jupiter in Leo, Saturn in Scorpio.
Well pumpkins, it was a good run this week, but today we hit the wall. Things don’t go quite as planned, or don’t go at all. It may be best to let ambition fall by the wayside, and just float in an innertube. With the day starting with the Moon in Opposition Venus, one’s mood is dampened. Then, the Sun squares Saturn, making everthing just too much bother. In the evening, the Moon is in opposition to Jupiter and square Mars, making it difficult to focus and everyone more irritable. This is just not a good day for those driven to get anything accomplished. You can use your magicks to re-direct the general malaise towards others, but it won’t make you feel any better, so it’s probably better to work on diminishing the trash in your own life rather than tossing it over someone else’s fence. So, it’s better to calm and center.
