Wednesday, February 25, 2015, 8 Thargelion, dedicated to Poseidon, Emperor Hadrian adopts Antonius Pius 138 AD, Elizabeth I excommunicated by the Pope 1570, anniversary of Federal paper currency being introduced 1862, 8th night of the Waxing Moon (1st Quarter) in Gemini, overseen by the 34th Decan, Acha, ruled by Saturn, starting in the 5th Mansion of the Moon Al Haq’a/Almices, good for healing, building, children, the return of lost things, then entering the 6th Mansion of the Moon, Al Han’ah/Athaya, a day for stirring things up, promoting cruel and destructive acts, agricultural disasters, around 5:00 A.M. Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Mercury at 6:37 A.M., and last 55.33 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with the Sun at 5:41 P.M., lasting 64.66 minutes, Sun in Pisces Mercury in Aquarius, Venus in Aries, Mars in Aries, Jupiter retrograde in Leo, Saturn in Sagittarius. While we may not have been complacent these last few days, we have been comfortably going about our lives without approaching the barriers to future progress. Today brings us up to those boundaries. The emotional highs engendered by a 1st quarter are supported in the morning by the Moon being sextile both Venus and Mars, but this is paired with the Moon also being in opposition to Saturn, this combination giving us a strong enough outlook to challenge limitations. The afternoon and evening give us additional support to challenge the perceived limitations in front of us, fueled by the Moon being trine Mercury while Mars is conjunct Saturn. The question is whether the results of making all this effort will bring an equal reward. The simple answer is not really. So, we find ourselves striving greatly for minimal rewards. It’s up to you to decide whether a slight advance that might exhaust one is worth the effort. One’s magicks, being under the 6th Mansion of the Moon, are better suited to setting up limitations for others (as though the heavens don’t throw up enough of those), rather than creating anything positive.
