Thursday, July 31, 2014, 6 Pyanopsion, dedicated to Artemis, death of Denis Diderot 1784, purported date of the Witches of England raising a cone of power against a Nazi invasion of England 1940, 6th night of the Waxing Moon, starting in Virgo, then going Void of Course from 10:48 A.M. to 12:08 P.M., then entering Libra, starting in the 14th Mansion (Al Simak); good for promoting love, health, bad for land travel, good for other modes, then passing into the 15th Mansion (Al Ghafar/Algafra); a good time for treasure hunting and sleuthing, causing friction between people, dealing a blow, just after 2:00 P.M.
Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Jupiter at 5:50 A.M., and last 71.9 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with the Sun at 8:13 P.M., lasting 48.1 minutes, Sun in Leo, Mercury starts in Cancer, then moves into Leo 6:46 P.M. Venus in Cancer, Mars in Scorpio, Jupiter in Leo, Saturn in Scorpio.
Today’s another go get ‘em day, the influences are the Moon being sextile Mercury in Virgo, and Jupiter being sextile the Moon in Libra. This should be a good day in regards to one’s workplace position; credit should accrue to you. One’s magicks may be used to burnish one’s reputation and/or to subvert those trying to hold you back.

Wednesday, July 30, 2014, 5 Pyanopsion, no particular dedication in the Athenian Calendar, in Roman rites dedicated to the Fortune of this day, Infallibility of the Pope proclaimed by the 1st Vatican Council 1870, birthday of Madame Blavatsky 1831, death of William Penn 1718, 5th night of the Waxing Moon, in Virgo, overseen by the 13th Decan, Craumonis, ruled by the Sun, starting in the 13th Mansion of the Moon, Al Awwa/Alahue, good for aid, comfort, assistance, 14th Mansion, Al Simak/ Azimech, good for promoting love, health; bad for land travel, good for other modes, around 11:00 A.M.

Well, this should be a simple, easy day, compared to the last few days. Today we have a Virgo Moon sextile Venus and Saturn, which should turn us all into happy, busy bees, doing for each other with a light heart. One’s magicks may be employed towards achieving the same goals.

Well, everyone seems to have managed yesterday fairly well, keeping the inner control freak in check. Let’s see if we can make it two in a row. Today offers the go and do it energy of the Virgo Moon being sextile Mars while being in opposition to Neptune retrograde early in the afternoon. This confluence makes this an ideal day to act on one’s impulses, which can be a good thing, but Neptune being as it is, this can result in going forward with some harebrained schemes. Deciding to go forward with one’s plans to market a hand knitted cozy for ice cream cones is not a good idea, people. By all means, keep up the good work, but let it amount to something. At least one’s magicks can be put to most any positive work.

Monday, July 28, 2014, 3 Pyanopsion, dedicated to Athena, 3rd night of the Waxing Moon, starting Void of Course in Leo, then entering Virgo 11:37 P.M., overseen by the 13th Decan, Craumonis, ruled by the Sun, Sir Thomas Harriot introduces the potato to England 1586, Rospierre and other leaders of “the Terror” are guillotined 1794, start of WW I 1914, starting in the 11th Mansion of the Moon, Al Zubrah/Azobra, which is good for reversing negative opinions and judgments, then entering the 12th Mansion of the Moon, Al Sarfah/Acarfal, good for friendship and charitable acts, around 1:00 P.M.
Planetary Hours of the Day begin with the Moon at 5:48 A.M., and last 72.33 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Venus at 8:16 P.M., lasting 47.66 minutes, Sun in Leo, Mercury in Cancer, Venus in Cancer, Mars in Scorpio, Jupiter in Leo, Saturn in Scorpio.
This is a somewhat tricky day to navigate, being Void of Course most of the day. The Moon’s movement from the 11th to 12th House is beneficent enough, and should be enough to to provide a powerful, positive dynamic passage through the day. However, Venus is in opposition to Pluto early in the day (2:37 A.M.). This configuration can turn one into the scary, control freak lover/spouse. Relationships can embody a tug of wills over who is in control. I would humbly suggest using one’s magics towards dimishing this effect, reining in the lizard brain.

Sunday, July 27,2017, 2 Pyanopsion, dedicated to the Agathos Daimon, 2nd night of the Waxing Moon, in Leo, going Void of Course from 8:38 P.M. through the rest of the night, Sir Walter Raleigh introduces tobacco to England 1586, Jennet Preston, of the Malkin Towr Witches is hung 1612, overseen by the 13th Decan, Craumonis, ruled by the Sun, starting in the 10th Mansion of the Moon, Al Jabhah/Algebhah good for love and friendship, thwarting criminal activities and evil intentions, then entering the 11th Mansion of the Moon, Al Zubrah/Azobra, which is good for reversing negative opinions and judgments, around 2:00 A.M.
Planetary Hours of the Day begin with the Sun at 5:47 A.M., and last 72.50 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Jupiter at 8:17 P.M., lasting 47.50 minutes, Sun in Leo, Mercury in Cancer, Venus in Cancer, Mars in Scorpio, Jupiter in Leo, Saturn in Scorpio.
Just a tough day to get anything completed, while the day starts as a continuation of yesterday, the evening proves disappointing. As the Moon goes Void of Course for the evening, is squares Saturn, leaving us all dissatisfied whith the day’s course of events. It could be worse, so try to focus on the fact that the emotional letdown is not based in fact. At least you can utilize the beneficial effects of the 12th Lunar mansion as a magickal corrective.
Saturday, July 26, 2014
Saturday, July 26, 2014, 1 Pyanopsion, dedicated to one’s personal Deities, night of the New Moon, the day starting Void of Course in Cancer, then entering Leo 10:55 A.M., confession of the Chlemsfod Witches 1566, overseen by the 13th Decan, Craumonis, ruled by the Sun, starting in the 9th Mansion of the Moon Al Tarf/ Atarf, good for baneful and destructive forms of magic, then entering the 10th Mansion of the Moon, Al Jabhah/Algebhah good for love and friendship, thwarting criminal activities and evil intentions, around 1:00 A.M.
Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Saturn at 5:46 A.M., and last 72.66 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Mercury at 8:18 P.M., lasting 47.33 minutes, Sun in Leo, Mercury in Cancer, Venus in Cancer, Mars in Scorpio, Jupiter in Leo, Saturn in Scorpio.
A peculiar joy falls over today, what with it being a New Moon; the Sun Moon is conjunct Jupiter and the Sun, which brings high spirits and camaraderie. This is a fine reward for getting through the morning, in which the Moon is square Mars, which can lead to certain feelings of depression, and make us all a bit snippy. The ideal thing is to sleep in, and present the better you in the afternoon. It’s a great Newe Moon for most any positive work.
Friday, July 25, 2014
Friday, July 25, 2014, 29/30 Boedromion, dedicated to Hekate in the Athenian Calendar, in Roman rites dedicated to an obscure water deity Furrina, Constantine declared Emperor 306 AD, James IV of Scotland is crowned as James I in England, uniting the two crowns 1603, 2nd night of the Dark of the Moon, starting in Cancer, then going Void of Course from 9:53 A.M. through the rest of the day, overseen by the 13th Decan, Craumonis, ruled by the Sun, the whole of the day in the 9th Mansion of the Moon Al Tarf/ Atarf, good for baneful and destructive forms of magic.
Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Venus at 5:45 A.M., and last 72.8 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Mars at 8:19 P.M., lasting 47.2 minutes, Sun in Leo, Mercury in Cancer, Venus in Cancer, Mars starts in Libra, then moves into Scorpio 10:25 P.M. Jupiter in Leo, Saturn in Scorpio.
The tendency of the day is to channel our activities into considering the nuts and bolts, the minutiae. Nose to the grindstone people, and pay attention to the little things. This is provoked by the Moon being trine Saturn, in combination with is being conjunct Mercury. Expect to give and receive detailed instructions, some of which may seem odd, as the morning starts out with the Moon being square Uranus retrograde, which can lead to one’s personal obsessions coming to the fore (though not as badly as Captain Queeg’s with the Strawberries). This tendency can carry over into one’s magickal workings, making lists and evening scores, going for what you think is yours, right or wrong. You may want to back-pedal a bit on this score.
