Wednesday, March 05, 2014, 5 Thargelion, no particular dedication, Ash Wednesday, Emperor Julian begins his attack on the Persian Empire 363 AD, the main astronomical text of Nicolas Copernicus is censored 1616, birthday of Geradus Mercator 1512, 5th night of the Waxing Moon, In Taurus, starting in the 3rd Mansion of the Moon, Al Thurayya/Alzoraya, good for career support, general good luck, and to help or hinder judicial matters, moving the 4th Mansion of the Moon, Al Deberan / Aldeberan, good for playing the margins, shaking things up, around 5:00 A.M.
Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Mercury at 6:24 A.M., and last 57.1 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with the Sun at 5:50 P.M., lasting 62.9 minutes. Sun in Pisces, Mercury in Aquarius, Venus starts in Capricorn, then moves into Aquarius 4:03 P.M., Mars retrograde in Libra, Jupiter retrograde in Cancer, Saturn retrograde in Scorpio.
Today can be a day of, to misquote Alan Greenspan, on of “irrational exuberance” (which would have been better for Mardi Gras, but no matter). This joy to no purpose is provided by the Sun and Jupiter being sextile the Moon. Considering what 2014 has been like so far, I would just go with the enjoyment of simple pleasures for their own sake, and not worry about the consequences. Magically, a day for strengthening the relationships between people and things.
