Traditional Western Magic, High and Low; history, spells, observations, progress on The Big Book of Magic

Saturday, August 31, 2013, 26 Pyanopsion, no particular dedication, 10th night of the Waning Moon, starting in Cancer, going Void of Course 8:06 P.M. through the rest of the day, starting in the 8th Mansion of the Moon, Al Nathra/Ahaathra, governing positive aspects of love and happiness, but not advantageous in legal matters, then entering the 9th Mansion of the Moon Al Tarf/ Atarf, which makes this an appropriate day for baneful and destructive forms of magic, around 7:00 A.M.
Planetary Hours of the Day begin with Saturn at 6:21 A.M., and last 65.8 minutes. Planetary Hours of the Night commence with Mercury at 7:31 P.M., lasting 54.2 minutes. Sun in Virgo, Mercury in Virgo, Venus in Libra, Mars in Leo, Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio.
This is a much more self-centered day than we’ve experienced recently; while the Moon being conjunct Jupiter and sextile mercury lends a cool confidence to all, it being square to Venus just as it goes Void of Course makes this a day for selfish behavior to rear it’s head. Magically, it’s a day for hindering others, perfect for military manuvers, outflanking one’s competitors.
